Your new company
This privately owned business is head-quartered in Merseyside and is recruiting for an ambitious Company Secretarial Assistant / Assistant Company Secretary to join a busy and established secretariat team.

Your new role
As Assistant Company Secretary, you will work closely with the executive team including the CEO and MD to provide high quality board support and take ownership of corporate governance requirements including statutory compliance and corporate policies. You will be required to promote high standards of regulatory compliance and support the organisation on range of corporate governance / company secretarial matters in a varied role.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record of successfully performing in a company secretarial / corporate governance role with strong board support skills. You will have strong working knowledge of governance principles with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills as you will be engaging with board members and key stakeholders.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a permanent employment contract as Assistant Company Secretary with a supportive team. You will have the opportunity for further professional development with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries. This role would suit someone who is either part-way through their ICSA studies or looking to qualify.
