The Role
Liverpool City Council is looking to recruit full time Assistant Solicitors to join the team of experienced Child Care lawyers. The successful candidates will hold an individual caseload of child protection matters and will have conduct of care proceedings and related matters. You will be confident in undertaking advocacy as required.
In depth knowledge of the Children Act 1989, Adoption and Children Act 2002 and related legislation is required. Experience of working in local government is desirable but not essential.
