Job Details

We are looking to attract an experienced Solicitor to work with our senior lawyers specialising in product liability claims.

The role will include handling and assisting on product liability claims and recalls, acting for insurers and corporate clients, and advising on policy coverage.  The claims will mainly involve complex and high value business-to-business disputes and will include the investigation of long supply and contractual chains, and often have an international element; but the caseload will be varied and include lower value claims and claims brought under the Consumer Protection Act.

We are aiming to attract a Solicitor who is driven, has good energy, self-reliance and a genuine interest in the product liability sector in a growing and expanding team.  A good working knowledge of litigation is essential and experience of personal injury claims would be beneficial, but not essential.

For this role the ability to analyse and evaluate information logically, good communication skills and the ability to relate well to clients and staff is important. We are looking for a candidate who is an excellent team player who is self-motivated, resilient and able to use their own initiative.

We offer a nurturing and collaborative environment alongside a competitive salary. Our company benefits include 25 days holiday allowance plus the option to purchase an extra 5 days and free day off for your birthday, pension scheme, health cash plan, life assurance and income protection insurance. We also offer a number of discounts to use for gym membership, car leasing, mobile phones and insurance products.
