My client is proud to have a highly qualified private client team. Our client works regularly with ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals, business owners and entrepreneurs, family businesses and corporate professionals on private wealth and family legal matters, providing the same high-quality service and insight as they would expect in their business lives.

Our client is looking for someone at Solicitor / Associate level and is specialised in contentious trusts and probate work. You will join a highly successful national private client team, based in their Birmingham office. This role will involve directly assisting the National Head of Contentious Trust and Probate.

This opportunity will ideally suit a lawyer with a solid foundation in contentious trusts and probate disputes.

Candidates will also have the following:

Ideally between one to eight years' experience assisting on contentious trusts and probate disputes, whether having your own files or assisting on others'

Ambition to strengthen existing relationships and build a network of clients within professional services

A willingness to undertake business development and assist in marketing the team

Excellent inter-personal skills and a confident manner in engaging with clients and colleagues

A strong team work ethic and the ability to work effectively under pressure

Drive, commitment, self-motivation and a 'can do' attitude

The ability to exercise discretion and professionalism at all times

Exceptional attention to detail

You will be working directly alongside Partner level colleagues in the Private Client Department and encouraged to develop a major niche role within Contentious Probate for the firm.
