I have been confidentially instructed by a growing business within the financial services sector, to help source a commercially minded, non-contentious lawyer to compliment the small In-house legal function.

Reporting to the CRO, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years PQE within a commercial law firm or in-house legal team, with excellent drafting skills and experience of negotiating a variety of commercial contracts including NDAs, DPAs and SLAs. A good understanding of the Data Protection Act 2018 is also highly desirable. Any prior exposure of civil litigation or experience of working in debt purchase industry or other FCA regulated business would be especially welcome.

This is an award winning business with huge ambition and expansion plans, evidenced by this requirement which could be serviced on a part time basis. Post-pandemic we envisage this person being required to work in the office 3 days a week in the recently refurbished, modern offices in New Pudsey. The remainder of the week can be worked from home.
