This is an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Senior Lawyer (5 years PQE+) to join this Top 20 law firms City of London office and be part of an award-winning Firm.
The dedicated Cyber practice is key part of the TMT Disputes team. You will support clients and manage a full range of cyber matters including: Pre-breaching services such as cyber simulations; incident response management, regulatory investigations and litigation arising from Cyber incidents. You will be part of a Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners ranked team which has seen substantial growth.
Pre-Breach and Breach, including cyber simulations, response to planning programmes, cyber training and advising; Liaising with criminal authorities, project managing incident response, appointing foreign counsels and co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional incidents; applying injunctions.Regulatory: managing regulatory investigations including: notifying regulators (e.g. ICO and FCA); dealing with regulatory enforcement action; and appealing enforcement decisions.Litigation: Dealing with litigation connected to cyber matters including: pursuing claims and recoveries against suppliers; dealing with B2B and B2C claims; defending group litigation and representative actions initiated following incidents; and managing other disputes arising out of security incidents.GDPR Counsel: Advising on international breaches including with regard to Article 3 of the GDPR.
