To all Lawyers working in the Property Development Industry

Are you looking for a change and want to carry on working on high value complicated transactions but are not looking forward to having to start that commute back to the office when lockdown ends? Or perhaps you just fancy getting out of the City and working or relocating to the coast? If so, read on!

Mirkwood Evans Vincent’s niche Property Development Department is growing, and we are looking to expand our Team. Our clients are mainly based in London, although we have our sights set on increasing our client representation along the South Coast. We handle high value interesting development transactions and post development matters (dispute resolution/ leasehold management claims/refinancing/ sales of ground rent portfolios etc.). We also act for a variety of Community Land Trusts and are looking to put our skills to some use in the community.

Our Team is based in splendid offices just outside of Brighton. We are looking for solicitors with relevant experience who: understand clients’ commercial drivers and can advise accordingly; appreciate that picking up the phone or responding quickly to emails is key to client retention; are highly skilled legal technicians; are personable and enjoy working in a team; know how to explain issues in layman’s terms and understand that clients aren’t interested in legal minutiae and just want an answer to a solution, and aren’t so fixated with covering themselves that they can’t draw a conclusion where required.

We are happy to consider any working arrangement (full or part time, flexible hours, split home/office arrangements). Salaries (and commission) will be entirely dependent on experience (and following where relevant).

If you’d simply prefer to ask for more information, please feel free to get in touch. The process will be informal initially. The most important factor for us is getting the right people to support our expansion and with that in mind, we will be as flexible as we can.
