The role:

A Contentious Probate & Trusts Solicitor with 3+ years PQE within a reputable contentious trusts and probate department based in Newbury.

You will engage in a mix of dispute resolution matters but your primary focus will be on contested probate. Many of the practitioners in the department are STEP qualified giving them access to some of the most complex and interesting work available.

You will carry out a dynamic range of fee earning work such as:

· advising trust companies
· acting on trustee disputes
· estate disputes where there is the issue of capacity
· court of protection related cases
· disputing will validity
· dealing with matters under the 1975 act

You'll be working under a practice head who is known for outstanding tactical skills which presents an opportunity to learn from one of the best around. However, having a previously established record in contested probate/litigation is essential.
