Job Details
Hugely significant plc which has several sites across the north of England requires a blue-chip commercial lawyer with a first class pedigree for an exciting role.
Working within its small, however, influential and integral In-house legal team, the role can be based in either Newcastle upon Tyne, or West Yorkshire.
You will be responsible for a varied and challenging caseload that requires strong acumen, energy, organisation and planning.
You'll be dealing with complex legal and commercial issues and aside company law experts, those solicitors with a background in either construction (contentious or non-contentious) or corporate law are welcome to apply.
Principle accountabilities will include, negotiating and drafting contracts, advising on ad hoc disputes, procurement law issues and representing the company in any forums where commercial legal issues are discussed.
Ideally, you'll have 1-3 years PQE from a reputable law firm or well-regarded In-house team and have a pragmatic and positive commercial attitude. In return, you'll be rewarded with high quality work and genuine career progression in a position in which you can truly influence.
