6 Months FTC- Commercial Contracts Lawyer - East Anglia- £37,000 pro rata
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are recruiting for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a Public Sector organisation based in East Anglia. The position is offered on a 6 Month FTC, full-time basis.
Remote working will be offered in accordance with Government guidelines.
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience with matters relating to Commercial Contracts within a Local Authority.
Daily duties will include:
To act as a legal advisor to client organisations in relation to matters concerning commercial, contracts, procurement, trading and corporate law
To deputise for the Principal Lawyer in his/her absence and assist in management and supervision of the Commercial Team as required
Ensuring compliance with all statutory duties and obligations in order to protect the best legal interests of the client organisations to the highest standard
Providing legal and procedural advice to any of the client Committees and Directorates to ensure that a strong corporate governance culture is achieved
