THE ROLE:
This firm have a clear focus for the firm's development over the next three years’ and are specifically looking to strengthen their presence within the private client arena, in particular with medium to high net worth wills, probate, inheritance tax and wealth planning. Already boasting an impressive client base, the successful applicant will be expected to complement this with a genuine enthusiasm to undertake business development and become an integral part of the growth of this department. Leadership skills are essential as this role has the potential to progress to Head of Department.
 
THE CANDIDATE:
The firm are currently seeking to appoint a Private Client Senior Associate/Partner to assist in the development of their private client department.  You will be ambitious, driven, hard-working and above all have a real desire to succeed within a forward-thinking practice.  You will be tenacious and creative in approach. Your expertise will include standard and complex wills, probate, trusts, tax and estate planning.  The successful senior solicitor will need to be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, have a practical approach and be a true team player.  Working as part of a larger cross-office team you will be expected to develop your own portfolio of clients and will be accomplished in the area of business development and client retention. Applications are sought from individuals who have ambition to drive a long-term career within a truly autonomous environment. It is realistic that the right candidate could move through the internal structure to Equity Partnership in the medium to long term. Although not a pre-requisite, individuals able to demonstrate, existing contacts in the Northamptonshire community, or a following, would be of particular interest.
