Our client, an impressive Law firm with offices in the North of England are keen to appoint a Private Client Solicitor/Associate into their Newcastle upon Tyne office. This successful and long-established firm has strong values which are central to how they operate both from a professional and community perspective. As an ideal candidate, you will be a talented Private Client Solicitor with 4 to 8 years PQE, based in Newcastle upon Tyne and ready to take your next significant step into an outstanding practice who impart partner-led advice with exceptional personal service.

The Role

* As an integral part of the collaborative and supportive Wills, Trusts and Probate team, your strong technical knowledge will be put to excellent use with a raft of high-quality private client work such as, advising on all trusts matters, preparing complex wills, dealing with the administration of high value estates including those with agricultural property, business interests and foreign assets. Guaranteed, you will be challenged and rewarded in equal measure.

* You will seamlessly and self-sufficiently manage you own interesting and diverse caseload with the confidence and commitment, providing the highest level of client service as well as being an impressive fee earner.

The Ideal Candidate

* To complement the award-winning Wills, Trusts and Probate team, you will ideally have 4 to 8 years PQE and preferably be STEP qualified.

* It's imperative that you possess both a proactive and pragmatic nature in order to consistently perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands on your time.

* Strong technical and IT skills aside, your interpersonal and communication skills must be excellent as you successfully manage the expectations of clients and colleagues across a wide range of competing needs.

* Your strong work ethic and willingness to cover a variety of tasks both autonomously and as part of a cohesive team will ensure you get the most out of your position and ultimately achieve your professional ambitions.
