My client seeks a September 2021 qualifying lawyer (to 5 years pqe) to join this impressive, innovative organisation operating at the cutting edge of its market. As part of a highly collegiate legal team you will provide robust advice to a fast-moving business, working directly with senior management team across the group to support business critical projects.

This is a key appointment and a fantastic opportunity for an NQ or junior to mid-level lawyer to join an outstanding legal team and undertake a wide range of matters - no two days will be the same. Matters will include drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements including software & software licence agreements, sub-contracts, re-seller agreements, as well as having involvement in information governance, IP and licensing, procurement, as well as supporting the business on M&A activity and working with the Company Secretarial team.

Suitable candidates need not have experience in all areas but a grounding in commercial contracts gained in either private practice or in-house is key. Additionally, there is the chance to be involved in rolling out training within the organisation, covering legal updates and risk and governance.

As a highly innovative business, the client has adapted their systems to enable home working but there will be the need to travel to the office on an occasional basis for key meetings.

If you are a commercially-focused individual, who is a confident communicator and will not be fazed in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, at various levels, this could be the opportunity for you.
