JOB TITLE: Locum Corporate and Commercial Solicitor
PQE: 5+ years of experience
LOCATION: Remote working

THE ROLE:
An ambitious and expanding commercial law firm requires the assistance of an experienced Corporate and Commercial Solicitor to assist their existing team on a locum basis. Supporting the existing fee earners during a particularly busy period, this role is required to commence at short notice and could potentially offer ongoing work.
The likely caseload could vary from large scale transactions on behalf of the firms SME clients to more standard contract review and negotiation, and may include mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance issues, shareholder agreements, IT contract matters and manufacturing/distribution agreements.

THE CANDIDATE:
As a qualified Solicitor with substantial experience in corporate and commercial law, you will be confident in running your own caseload of client matters working independently on a remote basis. You will thrive upon translating complex legal concepts into straightforward language for your clients and ensuring maximum return on their commercial investments. You will be known for your sound decision making and for having a highly commercial outlook.
This role could be well suited to someone seeking to ‘top up’ existing work elsewhere, someone seeking a role requiring less than a full-time working commitment, or to address their work-life balance.
