Specialist Commercial Law Boutique Firm
My client, a Legal 500 boutique commercial city law firm, are seeking a Commercial/Technology solicitor to assist their busy team. Ideally you will have at least 4 pqe. This is a hugely exciting role to join a firm who is leading the field.
You will assist with B2B contracts, outsourcing, distribution and consultancy agreements. You will be confident acting opposite blue chip companies and their legal representatives. The majority of clients are in the IT industry but you will provide advice to clients in other industries.

The non-contentious IT/Commercial Contracts team currently comprises two partners and two associates. You would be reporting to the head of the department, but they are looking for someone who is able to work without a great deal of supervision and, in time, to start to build their own practice within the team. For the right person this is a great opportunity to carve your own career and help shape the future of our firm.
A genuine interest in data protection is a definite must, whilst having a background in commercial contracts, and particularly with a technology focus, would be a distinct advantage. The intention is to recruit a junior associate, however, a more experienced candidate would be considered if they have a client following or proven track record of business development.
Candidates who have worked with an in-house with an IT company or have completed training with a TMT group on private practice will have a significant advantage
