Healthcare Regulatory Solicitor

Regulatory role - 0-7 year PQE - London


A Top Tier law firm with offices located all over the UK is currently recruiting for a Healthcare Regulatory Solicitor to join their Regulatory department in Central London. The Regulatory department is diverse, offering a wide range of expert advice to healthcare professionals facing possible criminal and professional regulatory sanctions, Trusts and organisations on issues such as best interest decisions to DPA requests and inquests, as well as organisations and individuals facing Health & Safety, criminal and other regulatory prosecutions.


Primarily, you will be dealing with Healthcare Inquest and Healthcare Regulatory work, by managing a caseload of inquest files for our various healthcare Trusts and organisations. There will both the scope and need for lawyers to be involved in work for clients outside of their core caseload.


Please see below roles and responsibility's:

Manage a case load of healthcare inquest and healthcare regulatory files
Advocacy skills are essential to attend hearings at court, including travel, and accompany counsel where necessary
Achieve set financial and chargeable targets
Ensure relevant deadlines, quality measures and KPIs are adhered to
Comply with relevant policies and procedures

To progress to interview stage you must:

Be a Qualified Solicitor
Have Healthcare experience
Inquest advocacy experience
Understanding of regulatory processes and interface between different agencies
Regulatory defence experience is desirable - healthcare or otherwise
Excellent organisational and time management skills
