Law Society Equivalency Assessor Roles
The Law Society is the independent professional body for solicitors. We are the voice of solicitors, driving excellence in the profession and safeguarding the rule of law.
We are seeking solicitors to become Equivalency Assessors with responsibility for assessing the equivalency of non-Law Society property forms, such as the TA6, against an assessment framework and checklist.
Applications are welcomed from all members of the Law Society, irrespective of their current role, but applicants must be currently working within the residential conveyancing sector, have a working knowledge of CQS and the conveyancing process and relevant conveyancing forms.
The role is performed remotely and on an ad hoc basis. We expect commitment of one week in any given year split over 3 to 4 half-days, depending on the number of applications received.
