Job Details
We are working with one of the regions most innovative, forward thinking laws to recruit 10 litigators into their commercial litigation team in Sheffield. The team is a newly formed and specializes in Cavity Walls claims.
They are looking for people that would like to retrain into this new area of litigation from varying backgrounds. The offices are newly renovated, modern, safe, socially distanced open plan areas with close links to the rail, bus and tram networks and a number of car parks close by.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in litigation, whether that be civil, commercial or perhaps a background in personal injury. It is rare that we see anyone that has a proven track record in cavity walls litigation as it is such a new area of litigation but any exposure in this sector would be welcomed. The firm has a dedicated training and development department so full training will be given to get you up and running.
Key responsibilities include:
Progress a caseload of claims using the pro claim case management system in an efficient and effective manner.
Being the first point of call to advise your clients and keep them up to date.
Negotiation with third parties, their insurers or solicitors to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
Drafting schedules of loss and Court Proceedings where appropriate.
Liaising with Counsel and other experts.
To adhere to and contribute to internal processes.
Contribute to business objectives and profitability.
