A fantastic career opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Solicitor (5yrs+ PQE) to join a very highly regarded Legal 500 ranked firm in Maidstone, Kent.

Joining this specialist commercial department known for the quality of work they do, you'll be working alongside several impressive Commercial Partners and Lawyers many of whom are ex City

You'll have a focus on handling commercial contracts work on behalf of some excellent clients particularly in the renewable energy and technology sectors. This will include: construction and operation documentation, shareholder arrangements and share/asset sale and purchase agreements.

The quality of work on offer here is second to none in the regions and is comparable with what you'd expect in London, with the benefit of a real work-life balance.

You will likely be an experienced Commercial Solicitor either at Associate or Senior Associate level with upwards of 5 years PQE gained in a similar environment. A keen interest in commercial contracts with exposure to commodity sales, purchases, supply and distribution arrangements would be ideal.

We would expect anyone wishing to be considered for these roles to have an interest in specialising primarily in commercial contracts, including industrial projects (such as energy, infrastructure and manufacturing). Some experience of debt/security documentation and/or intellectual property would be advantageous.
