In House Junior Commercial Property Lawyer - Somerset - Competitive salary, excellent pension and bonus

Your new role
Our client have an excellent opportunity for a junior commercial property lawyer to join their established in-house legal team to provide direct support to their business. You will cover a range of legal matters that will guide the business towards achieving great results. Based in Somerset, our client continues to experience significant ongoing expansion. The team are currently working remotely however post-COVID you will be required to commute to their offices 2-3 days per week, therefore it is likely that you will live within commuting distance.

Reporting to the Legal Director, you will negotiate and settle leases, licences and agreements with third party landlords, instruct, supervise and review output from external lawyers, advise on all types of management issues such as renewal leases, surrenders and regrants, licences for alterations, deeds of variation and disputes with adjoining occupiers and landlords.

About you
You will be a qualified solicitor, circa 2-5 PQE, with proven technical knowledge of a broad range of commercial property law, particularly landlord and tenant matters and portfolio management. Applications are welcomed from lawyers from both a private practice and in-house background. The culture is fast paced therefore you will be commercially focussed, attuned to achieving business needs whilst maintaining professional integrity, objectivity and protecting the wider business interests.
