Locum Planning Lawyer – East Midlands – Part Time 3 days – 3 months – Remote Working – up to £45 per hour
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Planning Lawyer to join a Local Authority legal team in the East Midlands. The assignment is offered for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter. This role will be on an all remote working basis for the foreseeable future, in line with government guidance.
This is a part-time position, however this may be extended to full-time hours in correlation with the workload and needs of the team.
The successful applicant will possess a thorough knowledge of Planning Law and will have managed a caseload of matters within Local Government.
Day-to-day duties may include:
Providing advice on a wide range of planning matters
Advising and representing clients in negotiations and discussions
Drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements
Offering support to other legal departments as and when required
Attending planning inquiries and Planning Committees
The position offers an hourly rate of £40 - £45 (umbrella) dependent upon levels of experience.
