Professional Indemnity Senior Associate

A national commercial law firm are looking to take on an experienced Professional Indemnity Solicitor as a Senior Associate. 

As part of the firm’s Financial and Professional Risk team, you will handle a wide range of professional indemnity, D&O and FI claims. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with London Market insurers on large international matters including FI PI, K&R and trade credit cases. 

While you will be linked to the firm’s London office, their work wherever you want policy means that you will be able to split your time between home and the office. This role could also be home-based for those who live further afield. 

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and ambitious team that deals with highly niche and interesting work. 

Professional Indemnity Senior Associate – London / Remote  The company & role

In this role, you will work as part of a busy and growing team on behalf of insurers, brokers, and other financial services and insurance sector clients 
You will be expected to develop good working relationships across the FPR and Financial Services teams and with colleagues from other departments 
You may also be involved in supervising and supporting associates, trainees and paralegals from within the team

The ideal candidate 

A Professional Indemnity Solicitor with 8-12 years PQE  
May have experience of handling matters involving D&O, K&R and trade credit claims 
Will be able to provide and communicate practical and commercial advice in a straightforward manner 
Will have excellent interpersonal skills and good commercial awareness 
Will enjoy new challenges 
Will be able to assimilate facts quickly and work towards tight timescales
