Private Client Solicitor (2-8 PQE)
North West London / Remote Working
Salary £40,000+
Our client, an established Legal 500 firm located in North London are seeking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor from 2-8 year PQE to join their successful and thriving team on a permanent basis.
This firm specialises in Private Client, Court of Protection and Property matters and they pride themselves on excellent customer service to all clients and providing a supportive and friendly work environment for their employees.
The Role:
This role involves regularly dealing with high value and / or complex estate matters, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work, providing advice on estate planning, drafting Wills and Trusts and dealing with estates containing assets in overseas jurisdictions.
Other duties include:
* Supervising junior members of the team
* Trust administration
* Making applications for the Grant of Representation
* All aspects of post-grant administration
* Assisting with new enquiries
* Speaking with clients vie email and phone
* Liaising with personal representatives, ascertaining the assets and liabilities of the estate
* Preparing inheritance tax forms and applying the appropriate IHT Reliefs
The Candidate:
You will be from 2 - 8 year PQE level with strong knowledge of administration of estates, tax and Will drafting.
* Strong intellectual and analytical abilities
* Experience of drafting and technical research
* Supervision of junior colleagues
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional client care skills
* Good organisational skills, record keeping and file management
* Keen eye for details
* Ability to take direction from senior members of the team
* Positive attitude and keen on progression
The salary for this opportunity is £40,000+ with remote working available 2 / 3 days a week.
