A leading law firm based in Warrington is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their department on a full time permanent basis. Our client is a tenacious law firm, serving clients throughout the UK and across the world.

The Legal Secretary will deliver outstanding secretarial support to partners and fee earners in all departments at busy times. The Legal Secretary role will involve: -

• Prepare correspondence and documents through digital dictation system and notes
• Answer telephone calls and take messages
• Making appointments and booking meeting rooms
• Preparing court forms and statements
• Arranging couriers
• Copying, scanning, and faxing
• Administer filing - opening, closing, and archiving files
• Cover for other secretarial staff

To be considered for this position it is important that you have at least 12 months experience as a Legal Secretary preferably within a legal team. Applications from people without legal secretarial experience will not be considered.

You should be a confident Legal Secretary with an extensive background in the legal sector. You should be able to work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. You must have excellent IT skills in relation to Microsoft Office and be able to type a minimum of 60 words per minute. Candidates must have excellent attention to detail, and you should be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and third parties.
