An opportunity for a Paralegal to join a busy Adult and Children Social Care team at a London Local Authority

Your new company
A north London Local Authority are looking for a Paralegal to join their busy Adult and Children Social Care team as a Legal Assistant for a minimum of three months.

Your new role
You will support a number of Lawyers in the provision of legal advice as well as providing legal and administrative support across children's and adult social care. You will support the lawyers with a caseload of legal work including carrying out research, drafting court pleadings, preparing bundles, instructing counsel, liaising with third parties, and attending court with counsel. Finally, you will support on other ad hoc administrative duties as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the position you will have a law degree and it is essential you have previous relevant paralegal experience and have carried out the duties listed above. Although not essential, the LPC/BPTC is desirable. Finally, you will have excellent communication skills, a strong collaborative approach to working and a meticulous eye for detail is essential. You should be available to start work at short notice.
