Venn Group are delighted to be working with a well known and highly regarded University on a sole agency basis to recruit for their Head of Research and Legal Contracts.

As the Head of Research and Legal Contracts, you will be responsible for leading a small and dynamic team dedicated to processing all research contracts on behalf of the university as well as advising the research community on all aspects of bidding, gaining research and vetting og other funding sources. The ability to deliver a highly efficient service is paramount to the university as well as driving innovation and delivering a real-world impact through their research and innovation services.

You must be able to demonstrate leadership skills as well as process improvements all while providing key knowledge of contract and commercial law related specifically to research contracts. Previous management experience is essential as well as managing complex projects.

Whilst a legal background is advantageous, it is not essential and we highly recommend applying if you would like to progress your career and develop your team, taking advantage of professional and personal development throughout.
