HEAD OF LEGAL SERVICES
GREATER MANCHESTER POLICE
Keeping people safe is the primary aim of Greater Manchester Police. Policing is now more complex than ever before. We face new threats to public safety posed by issues such as online crime, terrorism, complex safeguarding and domestic abuse. We are proud to serve the communities of Greater Manchester and we aspire to be the best in everything we do. By working together with local people and partner agencies, we strive to build the safest communities in Britain.
To help meet the challenges of today and tomorrow, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated qualified Solicitor or Barrister to provide legal advice to the Chief Constable and to lead and develop our in-house Legal Services team.

Reporting directly to and working closely with Chief Officers, you will have a strong background in the law as it relates to policing.
An excellent communicator, you will have a track record of delivering accurate and considered yet timely, practical advice to senior leaders at short notice in a policing context.
