Locum Planning Lawyer – Remote Working

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Planning Lawyer to join a Local Authority legal team in a picturesque South West civil Parish. This is being offered on an all-remote working basis for an initial period of 4 to 6 months.

The successful applicant will have a thorough knowledge of planning law and will have managed their own caseload of matters in a Local Government environment.

The day-to-day duties will include:

• Providing advise on a wide range of planning matters
• Drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements
• Attending planning inquiries and Planning Committees when required
• Advising and making recommendations to the senior management team regarding corporate governance and strategic projects to ensure the best possible outcomes for the authority

The position offers an attractive hourly rate of £40-45 per hour is offered on a full time basis. Part time applicants will also be considered and the client is open to a job-share arrangement.
