A leading practice with an impressive corporate/M&A team are looking for an experienced Corporate Solicitor (3yrs+ PQE) to join them in Maidstone, Kent.

Joining one of the most active M&A teams in the South East with several leading corporate lawyers, you'll handle a range of corporate transactional work with a particular focus on M&A. You'll advise on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, buy-ins, buy- outs and joint ventures playing a key role in building and maintaining client relationships. In addition, you'll draft, negotiate and review a wide variety of key corporate transactional documents, but in particular share and trade and asset purchase agreements and disclosure letters.

You'll deal with clients across a variety of sectors and sizes from small owner- managed business, to private equity backed businesses and mid-sector corporates across the UK. The firm have developed strong relationships with leading accountants, corporate finance advisors and regional banks.

You must be an experienced Corporate Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE likely gained in a similar environment. You must have solid knowledge of M&A, including drafting and negotiating SPAs, price adjustment mechanisms, disclosure letters and shareholders' agreements. You'll be commercially aware and have sound technical legal skills. Finally a desire to provide excellent client service and an ability to build strong working relationships with both colleagues and clients is essential.
