SENIOR LAWYER

Senior Lawyer (Contracts) 37 hours per week (full time)

Salary up to £45,006 pro rata (including £3,000 market supplement); position attracts further car user allowance of £1,000 subject to criteria; relocation expenses may be offered

Mid Kent Legal Services (MKLS): - part of the ground-breaking Mid Kent Services partnership of Swale, Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells Borough Councils - is making step changes in the delivery of local authority legal services. Are you a customer-focused team-player, able to communicate clearly and concisely, and qualified as barrister, solicitor, legal executive or RFL with relevant experience in contracts and commissioning law? If so, then we’d really like to hear from you.

MKLS is looking for experienced lawyers to join our friendly team, working varied caseloads across the three partner authorities.  This is a great career step.  You will continually be stretched with challenging cases/projects which will need your technical abilities and positive approach. Attendance at some evening committee meetings may be required.
