Commercial Solicitor NQ+ - Leeds

Commercial Solicitor required by this well liked commercial practice which has quite a profile in Leeds and a busy Corporate Commercial department. To maintain their market momentum they are interested in recruiting an additional Solicitor who will focus primarily on non-transactional Commercial work.

The firm acts for a range of Commercial clients, both SME/OMB's and also in some niche sectors. The department advises on a full range of Company Commercial matters including drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, drafting IP licences and assignments, and agency agreements. (Corporate colleagues will handle the lions share of more transactional matters including shareholder agreements, business sales and purchases, and advising on company incorporations.)

This is a friendly team which places store on client care and cultivating relationships and so that is a core expectation of a suitable applicant being enthusiastic about client contact and networking.

The role will represent an attractive opportunity for a Commercial solicitor who is with a credible firm outside of Leeds but who wants to get into the city, or to a candidate who has perhaps become disillusioned with a national firm and so is looking for a better work-life balance and genuine inclusion in a business which is quality focused. Remuneration will be competitive, though the reasons to join this particular practice should go beyond financial motivation.
