JOB TITLE:                    Construction Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED:           4+ years’ PQE

THE ROLE:
An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Construction Solicitor to join a respected firm in their Milton Keynes office. You will handle your own caseload of construction documentation including collateral warranties, building contracts, performance bonds as well as dealing with specific projects. You will also deal with contentious issues advising and representing clients in construction disputes, both in the Courts and through mediation.. It is expected that the successful candidate will have excellent academics and strong ambition for career development. Applications are welcomed from Construction Solicitors with a passion for this area of law, you will ideally have a minimum of 4 years’ pqe.
THE CANDIDATE:
You will have sound Construction experience gained in private practice or in-house and will be able to demonstrate expertise within both contentious and non-contentious matters.  You will be able to offer a commercial alongside sound business and financial awareness as well as the confidence and ability to communicate at a senior level.  You will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and marketing skills and will have the enthusiasm and capability to develop contacts.  A team player you will be able to quickly slot into a friendly and highly successful business unit. Strong negotiation skills and exceptional organisational ability are a pre-requisite. You will be hard-working, out-going and a good team player with experience of working in a city or medium/large regional practice.
