Competition Associate

Competition Associate: You will work within a Legal 500 ranked department, within a team recognised for its strategic importance with Financial Services, Rail, Shipping and Healthcare. The Role

This firm are looking for a Competition Associate to join them in their City of London office.

You will work within the Competition team that sits within the overall Corporate department working alongside other competition associates and a competition Partner. The team comprising of over 20 Partners internationally. The ideal candidate will be experienced within a broad spectrum of Competition Law including in particular, UK and EU merger control, behavioural work in the UK and EU, cartels, market investigations and abuse of dominance. Experience of state aid and public procurement would also be of interest, but not essential.

You will be exposed to a great deal of high-quality matters, working within one of the leading competition teams in the City. You will be part of a growing practice allowing you to progress and develop. This position comes with a great deal of responsibility.

The Requirements

• You will be a Competition Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE (There is no upper limit for the level of PQE and more senior candidates will be taken into account for a senior position)
• You will be currently working within an a City or International practice.
• Excellent communication skills and a clear interest within Competition law.
• Exposure to UK and EU competition matters.
