The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Regulation Associate to join this Top 20 law firms City of London office and be part of a wider award-winning banking group.

The team has a very strong reputation for regulated lending and banking and is ranked highly in the Legal 500 in Chambers and Partners. The team as an overall has a growing and diverse financial regulation practice. The team advise on the full range of issues affecting financial service clients including, Financial Services and Markets Acts, Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA); the Building Societies Act, Data Protection, Markets in the Financial Instruments Directive; Treating Customers Fairly and Retail Distribution Review.

You will be advising on compliance agreements, drafting internal policies including risk management, financial promotions and approving marketing material, distribution channels for financial services, commercial contracts with the regulated sector, outsourcing and due diligence and structuring the sale and purchase of financial institutions. You will be working alongside leading individuals with an International reputation working on complex and high-value matters. You will be given a lot of responsibility ensuring your progression down the line.

The Requirements

• You will be a Financial Regulation Associate with at least 2 years PQE (There is no upper limit for the level of PQE and more senior candidates will be taken into account for a senior position)
• You will be currently working within a City or International practice.
• A clear desire and interest within Financial regulation
• Worked in a respectable Finance group.
• Actively engage in networking and development opportunities
