Job Details

Our client is a leading national brand and top 50 law firm with £100m plus turnover. The firm is looking for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor at 1 - 4PQE to join their busy and growing Dispute Resolution team in Leeds.

The role will involve working on a broad range of complex disputes such as contract disputes, board room & owner disputes, defamation issues, procurement disputes, business sales & purchase disputes. The client base is impressive and quality of work high - 90% of instructions will involve advising high profile PLC's, including international & blue chip companies (many with an international footprint), as well as larger sized regional businesses and partnerships.

Their highly rated and Legal 500 recognised Commercial Litigation team is noted for handling high-value, complex dispute and litigation work for and on behalf of local and multi-national clients across a wide range of sectors including, but not limited to IT, Construction, Real Estate, Pensions and Finance.

Whilst the ideal candidate will come from a commercial disputes background, our client will also consider those whose experience falls predominantly in property litigation work and are willing to up-skill in commercial disputes - the dispute resolution team acts for 18 of the UK's top 20 housebuilders. This firm focuses on the candidate's skill-set and personality match - the Partners are not brand precious and will consider those from downstream who are looking for a step up and a move to a firm with a larger, international presence.

An excellent opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor looking for the next step in their career. Excellent benefits and salary package (£43k - £55k).

Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
