The Role

4+ PQE Litigation Solicitor to join Bristol Top 50 to specialise in Financial Service Disputes and Investigations

Managing a buoyant caseload of banking and litigation matters, including but not limited to defended and sensitive reputational cases, breach of contract/mandate, breach of duty and fraud.

You'll join with a backbone knowledge of financial services litigation, shown via your previous success in a similar role.

Owing to the nature of the role, you'll interact with the lion's share of financial institutions on all their contentious issues. You will act independently and confidently when working as a reflection of your abilities, whilst working closely with the leading Partner, known first as foremost as a leader in the field.

As an Associate and senior colleague, you'll work with key clients including clearing banks, private banks, building societies and/or niche lenders. You will also play an active part in the management of the team, giving guidance and mentorship to more junior colleagues and being influencial to the strategic direction of the team.

Within the leading Financial Services Disputes team outside of London, you'll run at City-level without the lifestyle drawbacks.

The Requirements

• 4+ years relevant PQE
• Prior success within a Top 100 firm
• Based locally to Bristol, or looking to relocate
• Experience in supervising colleagues, ideally with managerial experience
• Commercial-driven, with a knack for anticipating headwinds and area of growth and improvement
• Keen to continually enjoy the progression on offer by the firm
