1x Solicitor Commercial – Employment & Education
Starting salary is £43,857 rising to £45,859 on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period.
Solicitor in the Commercial, Employment & Education Team; The Council is seeking to recruit an experienced commercial lawyer to work within its Commercial, Employment and Education Team. The role will include advising on commercial contracts, building contracts, transport projects and other projects (including energy, infrastructure and IT) and procurement issues all within the context and governance of being a public body. Many of the transactions will be high volume and high profile and will require an ability to deal with officers at all levels of the Council together with elected Members and Stakeholders.
You will be experienced across all aspects of commercial and contract matters and be able to handle a complex caseload without supervision.
