They are looking for a Parliamentary Solicitor 1-4 years PQE to join the team, work alongside one of the UK's leading political parties, help grow the department and move the business forward.

The Role

They are seeking to hire a Parliamentary Solicitor 1-4 years PQE to join their well-established team based in Central London.

This is a unique role based around Parliamentary and Election Law, giving you the opportunity to work alongside a major political party, so a solid understanding and interest in politics would be beneficial. The team comprises of, the Managing Partner, 2 solicitors and some support staff. There is a mountain of existing work in house so bringing your own work is not essential (but any business brought in would be advantageous).

You will be a self-starter, someone who can manage their own workload with minimal supervision and be keen to progress your career within the team.

The team have also been working in phone hacking litigation against media companies recently so there is good variation to the role which will give you an interesting, diverse caseload which will be at the forefront of relevant, up to date news coverage.

Requirements

• You will be a Parliamentary Solicitor 1-4 years+ PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE and applications are invited from even the most experienced of candidates)
• You will possess a passion for working within Election / Political Law
• You will have excellent communication skills
• You will be an ambitious individual who wants to progress in their career
• You must be someone who is a self-starter.
• You will have a strong collaborative approach to working
• A meticulous eye for detail is essential

Remuneration

• Salary up to £45,000 depending on your level of experience
• On offer is a lucrative bonus structure that allows you to increase on your earnings
