Award wining, UK-Top 100 commercial law firm are looking for an Associate to join their Housing Management Team which is active out of a number of offices including Leeds.

The firm is highly ranked in the Legal 500 with an impressive list of clients nationally, including housing associations and local authorities, the NHS, charities and private landlords. The Housing Management team is now one of the largest housing management practices in the country, operating as one team with lawyers based in all four of their offices. This is a hybrid role, with the successful candidate working partly at home and partly in the office. The firm promotes a positive culture of work/life balance and offers a lot of benefits, as well as opportunities for employees to participate in firms social clubs and fundraising events for charity.

The successful applicant will have previous experience of working for social landlords, with experience of acting for housing associations being desirable. The role will involve a varied caseload with a good mixture of working for individual landlords and social housing landlords. This will include repossession, disrepair, leasehold management advice, and breach of tenancy claims.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a team player with a keenness to work collaboratively with colleagues at both junior and senior levels and participate in business development, to build strong interpersonal relationships within the housing sector.
