JOB TITLE:                  Criminal Solicitor
EXPERIENCE:              2+
LOCATION:                  Greater Manchester
SALARY:                      up to c£40,000 DOE  

THE ROLE:
This is an exciting role for an experienced and ambitious Criminal Solicitor to join a successful firm. The appointed Criminal Solicitor will be responsible for their own caseload of Crown Court, Magistrates’ Court and Police Station matters. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, meeting with clients and taking instructions, file reviews, conducting advocacy and briefing Counsel where necessary. Ideally, the appointed candidate will be based locally so that they are able to travel to Court and Police Stations and required.
 
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are sought from Duty Solicitors that are Police Station Accredited who have experience of handling their own caseload for a minimum of 2 years. Duty Solicitors who are not currently on the rota are still encouraged to apply as the firm are happy to arrange this. Applicants must be motivated and confident in their ability to pick up on an existing caseload of files and be flexible in the event that cover is required out of office hours.
