Risk & Compliance Manager - Southampton

One of the most progressive law firms on the South Coast of England currently have a brand new role for a Risk & Compliance Manager to join the expanding Compliance function in Southampton. Our client has grown considerably of late and due to this growth are now expanding across a number of departments.  Our client advises a range of clients across a wide range of practice areas on behalf of individuals and business across the United Kingdom.

As a Risk & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for managing this multi office firms risk and compliance on a day to day basis. The role would comprise of dealing with practicing certificate renewals, complaints and claims management, assisting staff with conduct questions such as conflicts, reviewing and monitoring the firms policies and procedures, as well as the performance of the day to tasks delegated by the COLP, COFA, DPO and MLRO. As the manager of the firm, you will also be responsible for general compliance awareness, creating and delivery of bespoke compliance training as well.

To be considered for this, our client is requiring an individual that has worked in a law firm or in house legal team within a compliance role who possess up to date knowledge of risk and compliance requirements.
