JOB TITLE: Trade Mark Attorney / IP Counsel
PQE: 2+

We have an exciting new role for a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney to join a fast-growing Intellectual Property team of a legal 500 law firm. A following is not necessary as the team have a great deal of ongoing work and they will work with you to help you build a following locally and further afield. You will be involved in both domestic and international filings as well as the prosecuting and monitoring of trade marks, along with some very interesting opposition and cancellation work. You will ideally have some experience of drafting license agreements.
The mixture of corporate and private client work will serve to harness and develop your written and oral communication skills. An eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure are important and an interest in communicative, collaborative work is essential.
You will be passionate to deliver succinct, high quality advice with excellent client and team communication skills. The role will involve marketing and business development and therefore the ideal candidate must be flexible enough to work outside normal office hours when required.
