Senior Property lawyer (£45,859-£48,863)

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and able lawyer to join the in-house legal team at Warrington Borough Council. You will work in the area of property, including work on commercial property, regeneration and development matters of high complexity and high value.  The role requires the ability to provide regular supervision to solicitors and other fee earners and have conduct of the largest and most complex commercial property cases

You will be a key member of various project teams and will liaise with external lawyers, other council departments and other agencies as appropriate on these high profile matters. You will provide advice, guidance and support to Councillors and officers including providing advice and assistance on committee reports and procedure. This will regularly include high profile, contentious and complex decision-making on land and property matters.
