Children’s Safeguarding lawyers x 2 Posts, (£36,922-£44,863)

Operating in the field of child safeguarding, from time to time you will also be expected to advise councillors and officers in the areas of adult social care and education. The posts involve significant levels of advocacy in the Family Court.

Candidates with appropriate experience will be appointed at the higher pay scale.

All candidates will need excellent communication skills, team skills and the ability to interpret legislation in a common sense and practical manner, having due regard to the Council’s legal responsibilities.  We offer a supportive environment within progressive and friendly teams. We are committed to flexible working including the ability to work from home for part of the week where appropriate.

All posts 37 hours per week
