Diploma in Local Government Law and Practice

The Law Society's Diploma in Local Government Law and Practice is a one-year self-study course which can assist Solicitors, trainee solicitors, chartered legal executives and barristers to improve their knowledge and understanding of local government law and practice. The Diploma is an excellent way to demonstrate their commitment to the field and can assist their career progression to more senior posts.
The Law Society is recruiting for an Assistant Examiner for the Diploma in Local Government.
The Assistant Examiner is a member of the board of the Law Society’s Diploma in Local Government Law and Practice, with responsibility for, together with the Chief Examiner, setting and marking the examination which forms part of the assessment of candidates for the Diploma in Local Government Law and Practice.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate that they have the requisite knowledge, skills and experience outlined in the Criteria and Role Profile.
