Construction/Engineering Solicitor (3PQE+)

Top Commercial Law firm in Newcastle requires an experienced Construction Lawyer to join their expanding Construction and Engineering team. You will handle a broad range of both contentious and non-contentious work from different sectors and clients including employers, contractors, sub-contractors and lenders.  This will include drafting, negotiating and advising upon building contracts, professional appointments, sub-contracts and associated bonds and warranties. The successful candidate will also provide support to their  wider Real Estate team on development and construction matters and assist in acting for clients in contentious matters where necessary including adjudication, arbitration and litigation.

You will need:

·         A minimum of 3 years PQE within construction matters,
·         Experience of handling own caseload of the full range of non-contentious and

          contentious construction matters,
·         Excellent client care skills,
·         Business development skills.
