This Commercial team focuses on the Health sector and is now looking to recruit a Commercial (Health) lawyer of 5 or more years’ PQE to work in the firm’s Leeds office on a wide range of Commercial, governance and regulatory matters for the NHS and private sector organisations operating in the health and social care sector. You will be given plenty of client responsibility and exposure whilst being part of a supportive and collaborative team environment. The Commercial (Health) team advises NHS bodies, independent sector providers of health services and others operating in the health sector (including healthtech start-ups and organisations) on a broad range of complex commercial and contractual, governance and regulatory issues. As well as CCGs, NHS trusts and foundation trusts, local authorities and primary care providers, the team advises key national organisations including NHS England, Health Education England, the Care Quality Commission and the NHS Business Services Authority. Their work with the independent sector includes work on healthtech initiatives and projects, with the team advising start-ups and more established innovators in the field on commercial and regulatory matters. Commercial law candidates with experience of working on Public Sector/ Health-related matters will clearly be of interest, but our client will also consider candidates who have more general Commercial law experience but have a particular interest in the Health sector. Newly-qualified candidates need only to have undertaken a Commercial law set during their training.
