Your new role
A Head of Legal roles reporting to senior leadership, supporting the strategic and operational sides of the business. In this standalone role, you will advise the business on identifying and mitigating risk and negotiate and review a broad range of commercial contracts. Additionally, you will support in possible corporate transactions, while also playing an active role in fundraising life-cycles. In a broad remit, you will advise on ad hoc intellectual property, data privacy and advertising/marketing matters, managing external counsel for some specialist matters as necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified lawyer from a top practice firm, with at least 5 years' PQE (as a guide), to take on this influential position. The business would love someone with a transactional corporate background and some experience with fundraisings, who can adapt in the role to take on the commercial work. You will be able to work autonomously with a commercial mindset, complementing the collaborative start-up culture. You will be confident in influencing stakeholders across the business and be credible at senior levels.
