Our client is a top 50, national law firm who are famous for their high-quality client service with a network of offices working together as one team. They have over 1,500 employees over 13 locations in the UK as well having a strong international network of clients.

Due to an influx in work, our client is recruiting for a Costs Draftsman to join their Birmingham office on a permanent basis with some remote working available.

This fantastic opportunity should appeal to costs candidates who feel pigeon-holed in a certain area of the process. Rather than limiting your experience to one area such as drafting, this firm can offer you the chance to train and progress to your full potential including budgeting, negotiating and advocacy.

You will be working within a close-knit team specialising in a wide variety of costs matters including property litigation, restructuring, planning, personal injury and commercial litigation.

You will have a minimum of 3 years' claimant experience including drafting electronic bills, preferably within complex civil litigation. The bills this team draft can cover 1000s hours of work and are often assessed so our client will expect you will have strong knowledge and experience of this.

Our client will also consider paralegal, CILEX or qualified costs candidates provided you have the right experience.

The salary will be dependant on experience.
