Job Details
We are working with a leading Global Law Firm who are looking to secure the assistance of a Corporate Lawyer for a 3 month Fixed Term Contract. The role is to start imminently and would suit candidates with upwards of 3 years' PQE in handling a full range of corporate matters from ranked teams in the City or West End.
The Corporate Team is one of the largest in the market and provides support and advice across a full range of matters to include cross-border M&A, Venture Capital, Private and Public Equity Investment Funds and Corporate Governance. Clients frequently sit within the energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors.
The successful individual will join a highly ranked team and be involved in advising clients at all stages of their transactions. You can expect to be involved in cross-border public and private M&A work; inception, planning and due diligence; deal execution; joint ventures; post-merger integrations; capital markets (both equity and debt); private equity; investment funds; venture capital and corporate governance.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Qualification as a Solicitor within England & Wales (or another commonwealth jurisdiction, such as Australia or New Zealand, for instance)
- Upwards of 3 years' PQE
- Experience across M&A and private equity transactions across a range of sectors
- Experience working on cross-border transactions
- Excellent communication, client relations and team-working skills
- Capacity to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
- A drive and passion for delivering a professional and quality service to clients.
